I Miss You

 I am spiraling down,
   getting smaller, looking
   for cracks and shadowy corners
in the bigness of my Self.

 I am changing,
    letting go of guilt,
the punisher of dark, secret feelings.

 I am growing dense,
   like moist earth,
the scent of moss in the forest
   after it rains.

 I have more patience
   for my pain, the agony
   of my breaking heart
   and crumbling mask.

Instead of looking for the Light
   behind the Shadow,
I see it as it is,
I hear its song and feel
it move like a slow, saturated
   river through my bones,
   nurturing
   the Silent Ones.
